Mavis Turner’s tap dance class has people of various abilities, from the semi-professional to the downright disastrous!  Each has their own reasons for attending the class, and their own personal trials and tribulations.  However, Mavis is determined that they can learn a routine to perform in front of an audience, but she has to persuade them that it can be done…..

Can Sylvia master the shuffle-hop-tap-step?  Will Dorothy cease fretting about bicycle theft long enough to conquer hat and cane?  Will Vera abandon her bleach and Marigolds for bright lights and dancing fame (well, a bit of applause perhaps)?
