Lady Constance is holding a weekend party at her country manor. However, believing that she is likely to be murdered during the festivities, she has invited renowned amateur sleuth Perry Villiers to protect her and unmask the would-be killer!

Is it her nephew, Greville, or her niece Selina? Or one of the other guests; the teutonic Count Wildenstein, the medium, Signora Frapelli, or Connie’s solicitor, Mr Dulverton? Not to mention the butler Jespard and the housemaid Bagshot!!

Lady Constance’s life is at risk, but from whom, and who will live to tell the tale?
