Dr David Mortimer is preparing to give a talk to an international group of neurologists - a talk which will almost certainly earn him a knighthood. However, the arrival of an old flame with a startling piece of news threatens to derail his plans, and David is forced to hide his previous “indiscretions” with a series of ever more outrageous and hilarious fibs, aided and abetted by his work colleagues........

A classic of the genre, this farce will have the audience rocking with laughter at the hapless plight of Dr Mortimer and the chaos that his machinations cause throughout the hospital.
