“Constable Capers”
A Miscellany of Sketches and Songs
To celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the birth of John Constable, we present a confection of sketches, music and merriment.
Hold onto your hats as the man himself is whisked through time to converse with artists of later eras and experience the songs of those times!
The whole show was put together in six weeks - a ludicrously short time to write, rehearse and stage a show!!
Monies raised from tickets were donated to The Constable Memorial Hall funds for upkeep and improvements to the venue.
Finally, the original photos of the performance were taken on a bare stage with just the cast and a few props. However, a member of the group has used AI to render appropriate backgrounds.
