“Allo Allo” - A Farce by Jeremy Lloyd & David Croft
It is wartime France, and the German Army is occupying the small town of Nouvien. There Rene Artois runs his small Café. However, unknown to the Germans, he is sheltering two British Airmen. He is also hiding the priceless painting of the “Fallen Madonna With The Big Boobies” by Van Klomp, plus a forgery for the Germans, whilst running a radio for the Resistance. All whilst conducting an affair with his two waitresses under the nose of his wife! Needless to say, life is complicated for the harassed Café owner, and hilarity ensues as Rene desperately attempts to keep all the different factions satisfied…..
